Someone decided to list the life lessons that he learned from Firefly, which is basically some rehashes of the show’s memorable quotes. Killin’ em right back is advice you can take to the bank.
I’m one of the many people that didn’t know about Firefly until it was cancelled. In fact, I saw Serenity before I even heard of Firefly…or Joss Whedon (I didn’t watch Buffy, give me a break.) After watching the first season, I held myself partly accountable for its demise. Forget that Fox showed the 2nd episode first, confusing people as to what the show was about. And forget that Fox juggled the show’s scheduled more than a street performer trying to earn food money. How can the audience commit if the show can’t commit to a time slot?
I, like millions of other people, didn’t watch Firefly on the sporadic nights that Fox decided to air it. It’s the same thing that killed Conan.
